Wink & Wonder is an independent creative studio operated by Joanna Muñoz in Los Angeles, California. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit winkandwonder.com, join the Magic Mail Club, subscribe to my newsletter, purchase something, register for a workshop, contact me or otherwise interact with Wink & Wonder.

Information I Collect

Depending on how you interact with Wink & Wonder, I may collect:

  • Your name, email address, mailing address and phone number

  • Information needed to process and fulfill purchases or subscriptions

  • Your Magic Mail Club subscription selection and payment status

  • Workshop registrations, client inquiries and messages you send me

  • Newsletter subscription preferences

  • Information you voluntarily provide, such as how you heard about Wink & Wonder

  • Technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type, referring website and pages visited

  • Cookie and website-usage information collected through Squarespace and similar technologies

Payment information is processed securely by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or Etsy. I do not receive or store your complete credit or debit card number.

Please do not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your purchase, subscription or inquiry.

How I Use Your Information

I may use your personal information to:

  • Process purchases and recurring subscriptions

  • Create, prepare and mail Magic Mail Club rewards

  • Fulfill Etsy orders

  • Register you for workshops or other services

  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support

  • Send newsletters or marketing emails when you have chosen to receive them

  • Maintain transaction, tax and business records

  • Improve my website, products, services and customer experience

  • Prevent fraud, misuse or security issues

  • Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

Where applicable, I process information because it is necessary to fulfill a contract with you, because you have given consent, because I have a legitimate business interest or because I am required to do so by law.

Newsletter & Marketing Emails

If you join my mailing list, I may send you newsletters, product announcements, Magic Mail Club updates, workshop information and other Wink & Wonder news.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each marketing email. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent me from sending transactional messages related to a purchase, subscription or workshop registration.

Cookies & Website Analytics

Wink & Wonder uses Squarespace to host this website. Squarespace and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand website traffic and improve performance.

Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Other cookies may support analytics or optional features. Where required, you may be given the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect how the website works.

My website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting them.

How I Share Information

I only share personal information when reasonably necessary to operate Wink & Wonder, fulfill your requests or comply with the law. Service providers may include:

  • Squarespace, for website hosting, forms, analytics and email campaigns

  • Stripe, for processing payments and subscriptions

  • Etsy, for purchases made through my Etsy shop

  • USPS and other postal or delivery providers, for mailing physical products and Magic Mail

  • Professional service providers, such as accounting, legal or technical-support providers, when necessary

  • Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect rights or address security concerns

These companies process information under their own privacy policies and practices.

If Wink & Wonder is reorganized, sold or transferred, relevant business information may be transferred as part of that transaction where permitted by law.

I do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data Retention

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, fulfill orders, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

Order and transaction records are generally retained for up to five years, or longer when required by law. Newsletter information is retained until you unsubscribe or request its deletion, subject to limited records needed to honor your unsubscribe request.

Data Security

I take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. However, no website, email system, payment platform or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International Customers & Data Transfers

Wink & Wonder is based in the United States. If you visit the website or make a purchase from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where my service providers operate.

These countries may have different data-protection laws from those where you live. Where required, service providers may use approved legal safeguards for international data transfers.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
